Basics of Research Data Management Online

This workshop offers best practices for accessing, storing, analyzing, preserving and sharing research data. Attendees will gain a basic understanding of the purpose and benefits of a Research Data Management Plan (DMP) and learn how effective data management practices can streamline lab workflows, prevent data loss, and support compliance with institutional and funder requirements. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the benefits of data management and sharing (DMS) 

  • Apply best practices for data management 

  • Utilize various tools for good data management

All library classes will be streamed live via Zoom, https://iu.zoom.us/j/98587477406. If there are no attendees online, classes will be cancelled 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.
