NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy Online

A Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Plan is required as part of the application process for NIH funding. This class will talk about what a data management and sharing plan is, break down the required elements of the NIH’s DMP format and walk you through designing and writing your own NIH-compliant DMS plan 

Learning Objectives 

  • Explain what a data management and sharing plan is and what the benefits are for using one.  

  • Describe your responsibilities for developing and using data management and sharing plans for NIH funding.   

  • Explain the required elements of an NIH data management & sharing plan.  

All library classes will be streamed live via Zoom, https://iu.zoom.us/j/98587477406. If there are no attendees online, classes will be cancelled 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.
