Researcher Profiles: Managing Your Scholarly Identity Online
It’s hard not to have an online presence nowadays. If you don’t claim your online identity large companies will try to do it for you.
Join us in this workshop to learn how to ensure your research profiles accurately reflect your professional work. Tools like ORCID (Open Researcher & Contributor ID), Google Scholar, and other researcher profiles allow you to extend the impact of your work by ensuring you can manage your identity, connect with collaborators, and share your research with public audiences.
Learning objectives:
- Learn about which research profiles will work best for you and your research
- Understand the benefits of managing and curating your researcher profiles to help correct errors and mis-attributed publications in auto-generated profiles
Accommodations: If you require accommodations, please send an email to digschol@iu.edu with the title and date of the class and the accommodations needed. We will make every effort to assist you in the amount of time given.
