NIH Final Data Management and Sharing Policy: An introduction Online

A Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Plan is required as part of the application process for NIH funding. This class will talk about what a data management and sharing plan is, break down the six required elements of the NIH’s DMS Plan with examples of each, and walk you through designing and writing your own NIH-compliant DMS plan.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain what a data management and sharing plan is and why it’s important.
  • Learn the required elements of an NIH DMS Plan
  • Practice composing an NIH DMS plan in an NIH-compliant format.

All library classes will be streamed live via Zoom, https://iu.zoom.us/j/98587477406. If there are no attendees online, classes will be cancelled 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.
